RAINMEN GAME AGAINST PUERTO RICO RESCHEDULED BACK HOME
latestnews-smThe Halifax Rainmen will have to wait to get their shot at the Puerto Rico Capitanes.  The game set for tonight, 7pm at the Metro Centre will have to be rescheduled by the Premier Basketball league based on team schedules for the remainder of the season.  Puerto Rico, who defeated the Quebec Kebs last night in Quebec, were unable to arrive in Halifax today as scheduled due to weather.

“Obviously we are disappointed as this was going to be an exciting game; however the safety of the players and coaches is the most important factor,”  said Andre Levingston, Rainmen team owner. “We are excited about this game and are looking forward to it being rescheduled. Haligonians will get the chance to see the top 2 teams battle it out on home court.”

Tickets for this game will be honored for the rescheduled game. Replacement tickets will not be issued, so fans are encouraged to tuck them away in a safe place.
