This September, basketball enthusiasts of all ages will battle it out for street supremacy in the heart of Downtown Halifax. From Saturday morning, September 18th until the championship game on Sunday evening, September 19th. Rogers is proud to present the “Rainmen 3 on 3 Street Jam” which will take over Brunswick Street, directly between the Metro Centre and Citadel Hill. Street ball at its best, this tournament will feature 11 divisions ranging from 10 & under to 35+ and all teams are guaranteed to play a minimum of 4 games.
“We are excited to be a part of the inaugural Rainmen 3 on 3 Street Jam presented by Rogers” says Andre Levingston, Owner of the Halifax Rainmen, “The Rainmen are committed to the growth and development of basketball in the region and we can’t wait to see everybody playing the game we love just outside the doors of our home court.”
Produced by Sports & Entertainment Atlantic, the Rainmen 3 on 3 Street Jam will be located between Duke and Carmichael streets, the Street Jam venue will consist of six sportgrid tile courts and portable hoop systems allowing spectators to watch the action from an elevated seat on the side of Citadel Hill. The competition will begin at 8am on Saturday morning with a full slate of round robin games in each division.

Divisions will include both male and female divisions of 10 & under, 14 & under and 18 & under, and Open as well as Corporate Mixed, Senior Men (35+) and Top Gun. Space is limited to 8 teams in each division and will be filled on a first come first serve basis.
